Our winery is a family-run business that cultivates some high-quality vineyards in Rheinhessen region of Germany through love of tradition but also preserves architectural cultural monuments and cultivates crops and livestock. Viticulture is a family affair for us. Our company has existed in the heart of Rheinhessen since 1696 and this cultural heritage has always been maintained with great respect. Sister and brother Charlotte and Julius Meiser are in the process of taking the family business into the next generation.
Contrary to common trends and conventions, the winery has never deviated from traditional aging in large wooden barrels. Today, Meiser can rely on a well-kept barrel cellar in which their wines are spontaneously fermented in peace and quiet. Meiser’s Riesling and Pinot wines are allowed to mature on the lees in large and small wooden barrels. The combination of new influences with classic methods creates timeless, complex and long-lasting wines.
The soil on which our vines grow is our most important asset. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to protect this natural resource. We focus primarily on promoting soil life through our own compost and sowing flowering vegetation for insects and animals. Our vines thank us year after year, with healthy, ripe grapes.
Our focus is on fresh and crisp white wines. The cool climate of our vineyards is the best prerequisite for our fruit forward and aromatic wines. As we aim for the best qualities our wines offer a great deal of drinking pleasure.

Weingut Meiser GbR is looking for the following partners in West Africa: Independent importers, retailers supplying the food service industry, distributors supplying specialty stores, and online retailers shipping to individual consumers.
Our winery is a family-run estate where viticulture is not only a profession, but a conviction and daily motivation. We cultivate our vineyards with great respect for nature, soil, and climate, as we firmly believe that wine quality originates in the vineyard. Careful canopy management, yield regulation, and sustainable farming practices form the foundation for healthy, aromatic grapes.
In the cellar, we follow a clear philosophy: as much intervention as necessary, as little as possible. Selective harvesting, precise fermentation control, and a differentiated maturation in stainless steel or oak allow us to express origin and vintage character with clarity. Our ambition is to produce structured, balanced, and age-worthy wines with a distinctive identity.
Under the organic brand Sander, our wines are represented in specialist retail, gastronomy, and among private customers, both nationally and internationally. We combine established tradition with a forward-looking mindset and continuously develop our estate in the fields of quality, sustainability, and oenology. Our commitment to responsible production is reflected in our Naturland membership and FairChoice certification.
Our portfolio for the West African market highlights the versatility and precision of German winemaking, led by our Riesling range from a vibrant, refreshing dry Riesling to a fruit-driven Spätlese with noticeable residual sugar, which has proven to be very appealing to female consumers. Our Reserve stands out with pronounced minerality and a well structured finish, making it a good Wine and dine choice. Complementing this, our white cuvée “Trio” offers an approachable yet distinctive blend suited to diverse consumer preferences. In red wines, we present Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir), in a classic dry style as an accessible and easy-drinking wine, ideally enjoyed slightly chilled on the terrace, while the Reserve selection highlights finesse, depth, and the potential of cool-climate Pinot Noir. Together, these wines reflect both accessibility for emerging markets and the premium quality increasingly sought by the evolving wine audience.
Sander – ökologische Weine wishes to work with general importers or distributors for their respective countries. They aim to place their wines in tourism-related places, with HORECA, and at retail locations.
