This role supports the delivery and management of AMENA AFRICA’s projects across business delegations, market entry advisory, B2B matchmaking initiatives, and investment promotion activities.
The Project Manager will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, and international partners to plan, coordinate, and implement projects across multiple sectors and the African continent. The role requires strong experience in project management, stakeholder coordination, research, and market development.
Responsibilities
Project Management:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of consulting projects across various sectors.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and identify areas requiring adjustments.
- Contribute to the improvement of processes
Market Research & Strategy:
- Conduct market and business research and analysis.
- Contribute to the development of market entry strategies and investment promotion initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, and knowledge management.
- Ensure project deliverables and reports are prepared and submitted on time.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Coordinate team meetings and communication with project stakeholders.
Business Matchmaking
- Support B2B matchmaking activities, including outreach and coordination with potential partners.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Recent graduate from a higher education institution.
- A foreign degree is considered an added advantage.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within consulting, trade promotion, or market development.
- Experience in export promotion, investment promotion, or international business development is highly desirable.
Professional Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong business and market research capabilities.
- Experience managing complex projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
- Possession of strong professional networks within the private sector (e.g., Chambers of Commerce, trade associations, industry bodies).
- Experience working with international organizations, trade missions, or investment promotion initiatives.
