The high-level trade mission to Ghana and Nigeria aimed to bridge the economic gap between Caribbean nations and West Africa. We facilitated engagement between Caribbean government officials and leading companies with their West African counterparts to explore mutually beneficial trade and investment opportunities. This involved pre-mission briefings aligned with Ghana and Nigeria’s economic priorities, along with identifying key decision-makers for impactful meetings. By fostering dialogue and showcasing the value proposition of Caribbean firms and investment promotion agencies, the mission sought to unlock new market access in West Africa and solidify long-term partnerships that contribute to economic growth for both regions.
Our approach to the Ghana-Nigeria trade mission ensured targeted engagement. Pre-mission briefings aligned Caribbean firms and agencies with West Africa’s economic goals. We identified key decision-makers for high-impact meetings, fostering dialogue that highlighted the Caribbean’s value proposition. This aimed to unlock new markets and forge lasting partnerships.
Our co-ordination efforts fostered significant business connections. By facilitating events that brought together Caribbean delegates – both private companies and investment promotion agencies – with their local counterparts, we ensured targeted engagement. Managing seamless logistics, we enabled over 60 B2B meetings in Ghana and over 50 in Nigeria. This platform for dialogue and deal-making positioned Caribbean firms and investment opportunities for success in the West African market.
