The project aims to strengthen the pharmaceutical sector in Ghana, with a particular focus on enhancing local production capacities, improving regulatory frameworks, and fostering sustainable business models. The project supports key stakeholders in developing partnerships, facilitating technology transfer, managing intellectual property, and promoting private sector engagement in critical health product manufacturing, including vaccines.  

The project is implemented within a multi-stakeholder environment involving public sector actors, private companies, research institutions, and development partners. It focuses on creating an enabling environment for sustainable pharmaceutical production and fostering investment and innovation within Ghana’s pharmaceutical ecosystem.
